Community Rallies Behind Family Of Violet Satterfield | July 27, 2024 | News 19 at 9 p.m. – Weekend

Troy Lamard, a long-time family friend, emphasized the community’s dedication to supporting those in need. A silent auction was held during the ride to the family with medical expenses and lost time in the hospital. Community members expressed their love for Violet, remembering her as a sweet, positive child, and stressed the importance of togetherness during this difficult time.

The Arab community banded together Saturday, carrying out a “Ride for Vy” that saw nearly 100 bikers take a journey in honor of Violet Satterfield.
