SUMMARY: After sunset in the coming nights, you may want to wear a coat as temperatures will be cool. A comet, possibly named Atlas, is visible with the naked eye for the first time, as captured by Jim Opel in Castalian Springs. Previously, it required binoculars to see. The comet has been visible in the morning for two weeks, and it will rise higher in the sky each evening, particularly noticeable about 40 to 45 minutes after sunset. By October 21st, it will be noticeably higher, with its tail pointing upward. A map will be available online for guidance.

Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS has been slightly visible during the early mornings for a couple of weeks now, but it took binoculars to see it.
