Comet spotted over South Mississippi
SUMMARY: Meteorologist Eric Johnson reported on Comet A3, visible before sunrise this morning as a faint dot in the eastern sky. Photographer Jason Taylor captured its image in Gulfport, revealing its tail illuminated by dawn. Tomorrow morning, the comet may be visible again just before sunrise, but it will be low on the horizon, requiring an unobstructed view. After October 12th, it may reappear in the western sky at sunset, though its brightness remains uncertain. Early risers should aim for a 6:50 AM sunrise to catch a glimpse, and viewers are encouraged to share their photos.
