Columbus City Council will vote on decision to study annexation
SUMMARY: The Columbus City Council will be discussing annexation on March 5, with a decision to approve a study on whether to annex certain areas of the city. Councilwoman Jacqueline DiCicco believes that annexing at this time is not financially feasible, as it has already cost $18,000 in fees just to start the project. If approved, more costs will be incurred for drawing new lines. The council will vote on whether to continue studying annexation in the proposed ward. Residents can follow updates on the situation on Facebook.
