College baseball on the way to MGM Park in 2024

SUMMARY: College baseball is about to begin and MGM Park will host Mississippi State and Southern Miss for the Hancock Whitney Classic. Mississippi State will play against South Alabama and the University of New Orleans, while Southern Miss will take on Nicholls State. Both teams have local talent and will have a homecoming of sorts on the Coast. The matches will take place on February 27th and March 12th and 13th. It’s a great opportunity for local talent to play on a field they may have grown up watching and then potentially continue their careers professionally.

Mississippi State will take the field on March 12th to take on South Alabama and on the 13th they’ll square off against the University of New Orleans.
