Coca-Cola breaks ground on $15 million facility in McComb
SUMMARY: Coca-Cola has initiated the construction of a $15 million sales and distribution center in McComb. This investment replaces the existing facility, operating since 1949, and is expected to create 60 new jobs, reflecting the brand’s commitment to the region. Scott McCallister, Coca-Cola UNITED West Region Vice President, anticipates this will enhance their distribution network, benefiting employees, customers, and the community. The new center, which spans 12 acres near Interstate 55, will distribute Coca-Cola products across south Mississippi and parts of Louisiana. The historical association with McComb dates back to 1907, and upon completion, the current facility will be sold.
