Civil War enthusiasts gathering for 160th anniversary of Brice’s Crossroads
SUMMARY: Civil War enthusiasts are preparing for the 160th anniversary of the Battle of Bryce's Crossroads, to be held from Saturday through Monday at Bryce's Crossroads National Battlefield. Multiple law enforcements agencies recovered 9 stolen vehicles in West Jackson
SUMMARY: On Tuesday morning, the Auto Theft Task Force—comprising the Jackson Police Department, Capitol Police, and Secret Service—recovered nine stolen vehicles from the Auto Plus Towing and Salvage Yard on Commerce Shield Drive. According to JPD Special Operations Captain Warren Hull, two of these vehicles were stolen from Brookhaven, while the remaining seven were from Jackson. The recovery follows a similar incident in June, where seven stolen vehicles were found in South Jackson. Captain Hull highlighted the effectiveness of inter-agency cooperation in achieving these results.

Voting is Coming to the 2024 ESSENCE Festival of Culture™ with Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote
