City of Sumrall project updates
SUMMARY: Sumrall, a town in Mississippi, has been experiencing rapid growth, with an increase in people and development projects. The city has been working on improvement projects, including adding new sidewalks and lighting in the downtown area. Additionally, a $60,000 renovation to Beam Park is planned. The city is hosting a community social to engage citizens in these new developments. Mayor Joel Lofton says that the city is making efforts to improve and enhance Sumrall for future growth. The Sumrall Main Street Association is overseeing the downtown projects, and leaders are focused on working together to make the best of the growth.
You’ll soon see new sidewalks and lighting in the downtown area, which is said to begin in two to three months.
