City of Petal preparing for 22nd ‘Shop Petal First’ event

SUMMARY: The holidays are approaching and leaders in the city of Petal are hoping residents choose to shop local this season. From November 16th to 18th, the city will have its annual “Shop Petal First” event. Valerie Wilson, the organizer, said the 3-day event will kick off with more than 40 local businesses giving out discounts, deals, and prizes, including Visa gift cards, free pet exams, and Rayban sunglasses. The event is expected to be fabulous and promises something for everyone. Residents are encouraged to support their local businesses and take advantage of the great deals during the event.

Shoppers will receive special discounts and be entered for the chance to win door prizes.
