“Christmas at the Mansion” receives new florist to help decorate
SUMMARY: Lea Margaret Hamilton, a lifelong Mississippian and owner of So Delta in Greenville, has been selected to decorate the Governor’s office as part of the Christmas at the Mansion competition. Mississippi’s First Lady, Elee Reeves, praised Hamilton’s winning proposal, which will showcase symbols of Mississippi, such as magnolias and dogwoods. Hamilton plans to start working on decorations on Black Friday, with the completed decorations to be revealed during the candlelight tours on December 6. The public is encouraged to visit and enjoy the festive displays at both the Capitol and the Governor’s Mansion.
