Early that morning, an intruder, Tommy Lee Williams, broke in through the drive-thru window and confronted Blair with a gun, demanding he open the safe. Greene County to honor life of firefighter killed in action on Sunday

SUMMARY: Green County fire rescue battalion chief Chris Eddie will be laid to rest today after losing his life in an explosion while battling a tractor trailer fire on State Route 15 north of Greensboro. The Greene County Board of Commissioners announced that Battalion Chief Chris Eddy died on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
