SUMMARY: Last Saturday, my husband eagerly suggested visiting Cherry Creek Orchards in Pontotoc, Mississippi, for fresh peaches. Despite not knowing what prompted his idea, I quickly agreed. Cherry Creek Orchards is famous among North Mississippi locals for its fresh, seasonal produce like peaches, plums, and tomatoes. During our visit, my husband humorously insisted on buying a large box of peaches, which he bit into before even leaving the parking lot. This Saturday, Cherry Creek Orchards will host Peach Festival ’24, featuring orchard tours, food trucks, crafts, kids’ activities, and live music. It’s a perfect day to enjoy Mississippi’s finest peaches.
