Chance of storms on Saturday but not a washout
SUMMARY: Kentucky is experiencing a persistent heat wave, with temperatures reaching around 100 degrees. The record high for today was broken at 100 degrees, surpassing the previous record of 98 set in 1953. Humidity levels are high, making it feel even hotter. A slight relief is expected with forecasted highs of 88 tomorrow and 90 on Sunday, dropping to mid-80s for Labor Day. Most areas remain hot, despite some cooler spots due to recent storms. Although scattered showers and storms may develop this weekend, especially during afternoon football games, the outlook for Labor Day is sunny and pleasant.
