Celebrate Cities: Blueberry Manor
SUMMARY: Rob Knight reports from P'ville, dubbed the “blueberry capital of the world,” where he interviews Brandy and Tony, owners of the Blueberry Manor. The couple, who have deep ties to Pearl River County, bought and renovated a historic house into a bed-and-breakfast to meet a local lodging need, especially for events like the Blueberry Jubilee. The Manor offers a contactless experience with historic preservation in mind. Besides the Manor, they run a pawn shop and are renovating other historic properties to offer long-term rental options. Their efforts are well-supported by the city, and they emphasize loving and investing in their community.

Despite multiple violent incidents, he was released without informing her or placing a GPS monitor on him. Shortly after, he went missing, prompting the woman's father, Lance, to warn her. Lauren, the victim, stopped responding to messages, and her Life 360 tracker was turned off. Her body was later found brutally beaten in her car at a cemetery. Lance condemned the criminal justice system for its failures. The abuser, Rivers, has a criminal history and is currently in jail on a $1 million bond.
