Music talent agent among dead after jet crashes into San Diego neighborhood
SUMMARY: A private jet carrying music talent agent Dave Shapiro and five others crashed into a San Diego Navy-owned neighborhood in foggy weather, killing those on board and sparking a massive fire. The 1985 Cessna struck power lines and slammed into a home, destroying it and damaging nearby houses and vehicles. Residents were evacuated, and eight people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Shapiro, co-founder of Sound Talent Group, and two employees died in the crash. The NTSB is investigating. The flight originated from New Jersey with a stop in Kansas, aiming for Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport.
