Catalytic converters stolen from Salvation Army vehicles
SUMMARY: The Salvation Army’s Presto Lane location was targeted by thieves who stole catalytic converters from three of their buses. The theft occurred on Tuesday night, and the organization’s Major Timothy Delaney reported that the Grinch-like thieves broke in through a fence and were caught on video. The theft disrupted the organization’s ability to carry out their Christmas outreach efforts, including preparing meals for seniors and running their Red Kettle and Angel Tree campaigns. The Salvation Army is asking the community for support during these tough times as they deal with the theft and its impact on their operations.
