Cancer survivor gets special graduation ceremony at Medical City Children's Hospital
SUMMARY: Tyler Vin, an 18-year-old in remission from acute myeloid leukemia, missed his high school graduation in May due to his battle with cancer. However, he pursued his dream and completed his classes online. To honor his achievement, Medical City Children‘s Hospital held a special graduation ceremony for him, with his doctor presenting the diploma. Tyler’s journey was challenging, involving a stem cell transplant from his father and months of treatment. Grateful for the support from medical staff and his family, Tyler is now considering a future in electrical engineering, excited to choose his path.
For the last three years, Tyler Vinh completed his classes online and the people at Medical City Children’s Hospital who helped encourage him along the way couldn’t let him miss a ceremony to go along with his diploma.

St. Anthony HS students show up to support veterans at nonprofitโs 5K race
SUMMARY: Over 2,000 participants took part in the Wounded Warriors Project‘s Carry Forward 5K, with the St. Anthony high school cross country team showing support for their coach, an injured veteran. Saturday morning was the first time in the 2024-25 school year that St. Anthony Catholic High School’s cross-country team didn’t have to wake up at 5 a.m. to head to a meet.

2024 Texas high school football highlights: FOX 7 Friday Football Week 6 | FOX 7 Austin
