Bricen Rivers' bond, ankle monitor company question in Tennessee court
SUMMARY: Brandy Mill reports on the ongoing fallout from Lauren Johansson’s murder by her ex-boyfriend, Bryson Rivers, who was out on bond after allegedly kidnapping and assaulting her. Rivers, currently in Forest County jail, will remain there until his trial following a judge’s denial of his bond. This decision arose after he was out on bond with an ankle monitor, despite a court order prohibiting him from leaving Nashville. A panel of Tennessee judges is investigating communication breakdowns involving Rivers’ bail and monitoring companies. Lauren’s father called for the disbarment of the judge overseeing the bond hearings during the courtroom proceedings.
According to court records, Brooke’s Bail Bonding posted his bond and did not adhere to the court-ordered conditions.
