Community members, including University of Louisville football players and volunteers, helped prepare a new building that will serve as the primary adoption center and cat area. ACS, Kentucky’s first no-kill shelter, has been operational for 40 years and aims to double its capacity to save more animals from euthanasia. The expansion is critical for providing homes to more animals and supporting local rescue organizations during crises. Volunteers dedicated four hours to this rewarding effort.
