Body found in Mississippi River identified as Tamia Taylor
SUMMARY: The body of missing mother Tamia Taylor was recovered from the Mississippi River over the weekend and confirmed by the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office. Taylor had gone missing on September 10 while celebrating her 21st birthday on a Memphis riverboat cruise. According to a police report, Taylor’s mother received text messages from her saying she made it to Memphis and was on the boat, but she was later nowhere to be found except for her cell phone. The riverboat company, Memphis Riverboat Cruises, stated that Taylor made it back to the harbor. The cause of her death has not been revealed.
