It discusses the nuisance pests create and the expertise required to eliminate them. Paul Wellborne, owner of Lawn and Pest Solutions, emphasizes the role of on-the-job training over formal education in preparing pest technicians for their jobs. Recent technician Thomas Gaines illustrates the daily tasks, like sweeping cobwebs and checking traps, and shares a surprising story about a rat nesting with stolen candles.
