Blitz 16 Week Three
SUMMARY: In this week‘s edition of Blitz, the featured game showcased Warren Central defeating Germantown 56-23, with standout plays including Aidan Greer’s touchdown and Roosevelt Dwayne Harris’s 60-yard interception return. In other matchups, Yazoo County claimed the Yazoo Bowl trophy, beating Yazoo City 34-14, while Clinton edged Brandon in a thrilling shootout, 65-62. Hartfield Academy dominated Presbyterian Christian 71-0, and Jackson Prep improved to 4-0 against Jackson Academy. Additionally, Daniel Watkins from Northwest Rankin earned Player of the Week honors for his 18 tackles. The night concluded with highlight plays from various games, showcasing standout performers.

9/17- Supermoon views, and details of a pattern change!
SUMMARY: The Harvest Super Moon, occurring closest to the Earth during its full moon phase, was recently visible with a partial lunar eclipse. This September full moon is notable for marking the beginning of fall. Observers reported ideal conditions for viewing the eclipse. While temperatures are around 71ยฐF, fog may be a concern overnight. Overall, dry conditions are expected to continue, leading to warmer temperatures in the upcoming days, reaching near 90ยฐF. Although fall begins next week, summer-like weather will persist, with a potential for increased rainfall later. The National Hurricane Center is also monitoring possible developments in the Caribbean and Gulf regions.
