Blitz 16 Preview: Brandon Bulldogs
SUMMARY: The content discusses the Brandon High School Bulldogs, the top-ranked team in the metro area, and their success under head coach Sam Williams. The Bulldogs have excelled in one-score games and have reached the 6A state championship in back-to-back seasons. Coach Williams emphasizes composure and believes in his team’s chance of winning. The Bulldogs have championship experience and are focused on the upcoming season rather than past achievements. They will have a marquee matchup to open their season.
The two-time 6A state runner-up is now moving up to 7A. The Brandon Bulldogs are back to attack the competition and maybe the third time’s the charm for Brandon in the state final. But head coach Sam Williams reminds us and his talented team that they have to get there first.
