Biden visits areas in Georgia impacted by Helene
SUMMARY: President Joe Biden is visiting Basta, Georgia, to assess Hurricane Helen’s damage and meet with officials regarding recovery efforts. VIPIR 6 ALERT TUES PM-WED AM…Tracking Snow!
SUMMARY: A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning for several counties, with snow likely starting around 5pm Tuesday. Accumulation will stop by 1am, but roads will remain slick overnight. A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for some counties. Tuesday will start dry with temperatures in the 30s/40s, but snow is expected as temperatures drop into the 20s. Most areas will see snow, but accumulation will vary: up to 0.5” north of I-20, 0.5”-1.5” around Augusta, and 1.5”-2.5” south of Waynesboro. Be prepared for power outages and slippery roads.

Hastings earns Masters invitation at Latin America Amateur Championship
