Bianco says last season helped Ole Miss baseball get stronger heading in 2024 campaign

Fourth of July fireworks shows
SUMMARY: Across north Mississippi and west Alabama, various Fourth of July celebrations include fireworks displays this evening and throughout the weekend. Starkville hosts festivities at Cornerstone Park from 4 p.m., with fireworks at 9 p.m. The West Point Country Club features events from 1 p.m. and fireworks at dusk. Aberdeen High School's family reunion includes music and fireworks at 9:45 p.m. Smithville's Sparks in the Park runs from 4 to 8 p.m. Other locations like Pontotoc, Sherman Park, Saltillo City Park, Ballard Park in Tupelo, and Millport, Alabama, also host similar celebrations with fireworks. Single-vehicle accident leaves one person dead near MUW
SUMMARY: A Columbus man, Johnny Kenyatta Elliott, 43, died in a car accident near MUW on Wednesday night shortly before 9 p.m. Elliott was driving an SUV north on 15th Street when it left the roadway and struck a fence column. Propulsion engineer is charged with obstructing probe of deadly 2017 US military plane crash
SUMMARY: James Michael Fisher, a former propulsion engineer at the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, has been arrested and charged with making false statements and obstructing justice in an investigation into a 2017 military plane crash in Mississippi. This crash involved a Marine Corps KC-130T transport plane, killing 16 service members. Fisher, now residing in Portugal, allegedly concealed engineering documents and misled investigators about his decisions related to the crash. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison. His arrest was announced by federal prosecutors and multiple military investigative agencies. Fisher made his initial court appearance in Jacksonville, Florida.
