Beth Ann White’s attorney appeals her conviction
SUMMARY: The attorney for Beth Ann White, convicted for a deadly crash in Hines County, has filed an appeal to the Mississippi Supreme Court. Kevin Camp, White’s lawyer, submitted the notice in June following a jury’s verdict that found her guilty of four counts of aggravated DUI and a felony charge for DUI fourth offense. White was held responsible for the fatal November 2021 accident that resulted in the deaths of Allison Conway and her six-month-old son, Alex.

Aberdeen woman killed after Tuesday afternoon wreck
SUMMARY: Leila Pate, a 73-year-old woman, tragically died in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon. Her vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree near Tail Road, close to Adams Road. The coroner, Alan Gurley, confirmed her death, and noted that a passenger from the car sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital in Memphis.
