Best cities for veterans according to Navy Federal Credit Union | National

SUMMARY: A recent study by Navy Federal Credit Union and Sperling’s BestPlaces identified the best U.S. cities for veterans, with Sarasota, Florida, topping the list. Other high-ranked cities include Norwich, Connecticut; Derry, New Hampshire; and Omaha, Nebraska. The study evaluated over 400 cities based on quality-of-life metrics such as income, affordability, and community resources. Separate rankings were also developed for retired veterans, home-buying, small business opportunities, and small towns, featuring cities like Altoona, Pennsylvania, and Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. This marks the fourth edition of the study, which began in 2018.

More than a dozen people allegedly sexually assaulted by Stillwater dental assistant

SUMMARY: Cody Stolfo, who worked at an oral surgeon’s office in Stillwater from March 2021 to October 2021, has been accused of assaulting unconscious patients during surgeries. The FBI discovered a video of one assault on Telegram, which led to Stolfo’s arrest. Initially charged with one count of forcible sodomy, police later identified 15 additional victims, resulting in more charges. These alleged assaults occurred between June and September 2021. Stolfo’s former employer declined to comment, and the FBI indicates there’s a growing trend of criminals utilizing the dark web for such activities. Further updates will be provided.
