SUMMARY: In Henderson County, power restoration efforts are underway as crews work tirelessly from sunrise to sunset. Reporter Isabelle Marak accompanied a Blue Ridge Electric crew from South Dakota, comprising 20 linemen who volunteered for 16-hour days. They face unique challenges, including accessing areas with downed power lines using four-wheelers. Over 600 external personnel are assisting with the restoration. Residents have shown appreciation for the crews, eagerly awaiting the power to be restored, which is expected in the next day or so. After power restoration, cleanup of tree debris and damaged poles will begin.

About 20 linemen from East River Electric traveled from South Dakota to help restore power in Pickens County, South Carolina.

Aircraft makes emergency landing at GSP Airport

Multiple attorneys general call on appeals court to dismiss Trump indictment | National
