Beach Market Festival comes to Gulfport
SUMMARY: Two bills have passed and are now in the conference committee. The Beach Market is bringing live music, cuisine, and small businesses to the coast. Many people in Gulfport are taking advantage of the good weather while enjoying a fun time at the first-ever festival. Dozens came out to check out a wide selection of local vendors selling jewelry, clothing, food, and live painting. Vendors see this as a great opportunity for local businesses. The event is located at 4322 West Beach Boulevard and for more information, people can contact the number 228-224-2875. St. Paul Methodist is also involved.
Vendors, food, and live music were part of the Beach Market located on West Beach Boulevard.

Brandy McGill named co-anchor of Good Morning Mississippi
SUMMARY: Brandy McEl is set to join Good Morning Mississippi (GMM) as the new co-anchor, replacing her former colleague Jamie. In a recent interview, Brandy discussed her journey, mentioning her start at WLX shortly after graduation in 2019, and her time as a morning anchor at WDAM in Hattiesburg. Jamie expressed her pride in Brandy taking over and highlighted their successful collaboration on dance videos that have resonated with the community. 2nd annual Soul Music Awards highlights local artists
