Back-up generators to be installed at Tupelo Fire stations

Macon enacts Halloween curfew

SUMMARY: This week‘s weather shows generally pleasant conditions with some spotty showers expected in southern areas. A system from the Rockies will approach, bringing a cold front and a higher likelihood of rain and storms on Halloween. Although the risk for severe weather is mainly forested areas, some isolated strong storms might occur. Wednesday will start sunny but will see scattered showers later. Halloween could be wet, especially during prime trick-or-treating hours. Rainfall amounts could reach an inch in some areas. The tropics may develop in the Caribbean but are not expected to threaten the mainland U.S.
