Fake dentist from Katy performed root canal on victim, Houston police say
SUMMARY: Angelica Vivas, a Katy woman, is scheduled to appear in court for charges of practicing dentistry without a license, specifically for performing a root canal that caused significant pain to a patient. She is accused of offering dental services to an undercover officer and faces two counts from separate incidents, one occurring recently and another in February. The judge expressed concern over Vivas allegedly sedating patients, emphasizing the dangers involved. The judge said Angelica Vivas, 46, also put the patient under anesthesia several times and offered to perform dental work on an undercover officer.
