Attorney General holds post-election inquiry drawing

SUMMARY: The Kentucky Attorney General’s office conducted a drawing to select 12 counties for a postelection inquiry aimed at protecting ballot integrity. The selected counties include Callaway, Davis, Jefferson, Jesson, Bole, Baron, Warren, Campbell, Metcalfe, Edmonson, Lincoln, and Trigg. Throughout the year, the office monitors potential election law violations via a hotline, which received over 700 messages, including nearly 350 on Election Day. Each inquiry is investigated seriously, emphasizing the stewardship of elected officials to ensure fair and secure elections. Findings from the investigations will be presented to a grand jury in the audited counties.

The Kentucky Attorney General’s office held a drawing on Wednesday randomly selecting 12 counties to go through a post-election day inquiry.
