Arrested on one felony count of aggravated domestic in Harrison County

SUMMARY: Sheriff Troy Peterson announced the arrest of Gary Wayne Bruce, 60, on one count of felony Aggravated Domestic on August 15th 2023. Bruce was accused of causing injuries to a female who required medical attention. He initially barricaded himself in a camper when deputies attempted to make contact but was eventually taken into custody without incident. The victim was treated for her injuries at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS while Bruce is held on a $50,000 bond.

Southern Miss freshman earns Congressional Silver Medal
