Arraignment set for Letcher County Sheriff Shawn Stines
SUMMARY: Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman announced that Letcher County Sheriff Mickey Stein will be arraigned on Wednesday at 11 a.m. via virtual appearance before a special judge in Letcher County District Court. Stein faces murder charges for allegedly shooting Letcher County District Judge Kevin Mullins last Thursday. Additionally, the Letcher County courthouse, where the incident occurred, will remain closed until Monday, September 30. All court events are postponed, and individuals with business in court will receive notifications by mail regarding rescheduled dates.

Family loses house, belongings in Edmonson County fire
