SUMMARY: In a dramatic police chase on September 23rd, Arkansas State Police pursued a black SUV driven by Derek Scudder, who had fled from authorities in Oklahoma. After multiple failed attempts to stop the vehicle, which reached speeds of 110 mph, Scudder eventually crashed and attempted to escape on foot. He was apprehended while trying to steal a car from a garage. Police discovered 240 pounds of methamphetamine and over 2 pounds of fentanyl in the SUV.
