SUMMARY: Three members of the Air Evac Life Team based in Grant County, Kentucky, have tragically died in an accident while en route to a patient pickup. The incident occurred just after 5:30 PM, approximately two miles north of Owen County High School. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by Kentucky State Police, the FAA, and the National Transportation Safety Board. The identities of the deceased have not been released as their families are being respected during this difficult time. Air Evac expressed deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
