Anthony Fox released from prison, headed back to work
SUMMARY: The Clinton Police Department has reinstated a former officer, Fox, after his conviction in the 2019 death of George Robinson was overturned by the state court. Robinson’s sister expressed outrage at the Attorney General for requesting the appeals court to throw out Fox’s conviction. Despite being a free man and unable to be tried again, Robinson’s sister continues to fight for justice in her brother’s death. Fox has also been named a defendant in a civil lawsuit. A news conference is scheduled where Fox may speak publicly for the first time since his release.
