Annual 'Show Up, Show Out' motorcycle ride acts as fundraiser
SUMMARY: A motorcycle ride featuring a dozen bikes took place through Three Counties to support a men‘s recovery ministry. Starting and ending at Life Church in Laurel, the 90-mile journey traversed Jones, Smith, and Covington counties. Funds raised honor Jason and Joyce Waltman, with Jason having overcome addiction through a recovery program. This year, all proceeds will benefit Liberty Ministries in Ellisville, which focuses on men’s drug and alcohol recovery. The ride kickstarted an annual car, truck, and bike show at Life Church, further contributing to the fundraising efforts for Liberty Ministries.

'In-person' absentee voting underway
