Annual Katrina Blood Drive happening around the Coast
SUMMARY: Due to a current blood shortage, the demand for blood donations has significantly increased. The American Red Cross is encouraging donations during the annual Katrina blood drive along the Gulf Coast, highlighting that someone needs blood every two seconds. Donating blood is a quick and easy process, and all blood types are needed. Spending just 30 minutes to an hour can make a lifelong difference for someone in need. The Katrina blood drive will take place tomorrow afternoon from 1 to 5 at 11290 Mandal Parkway in Diberville.
