Anderson Baptist continues to honor cancer survivors

SUMMARY: Anderson Baptist is hosting the “Handprints of Hope” event from Monday to Thursday to honor cancer survivors. Survivors can visit the Anderson Cancer Center, choose a paint color, place a handprint on a canvas, and write their name and years cancer-free. The handprints will be displayed in the center’s halls. One survivor shared her story of hope, explaining that during her treatment, she found motivation through the news of her soon-to-be-born granddaughter. She describes her granddaughter’s birth as a divine gift that strengthened her resolve. The center welcomes survivors from Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to contribute to the Wall of Warriors.

From Monday until Thursday, cancer survivors can visit the Anderson Cancer Center, choose their favorite paint color, and place a print onto the canvas.
