SUMMARY: In North Carolina, the outcome of a Supreme Court race remains uncertain as Republican candidate Jefferson Griffin challenges the validity of approximately 66,000 ballots, despite two recounts confirming Democratic Justice Allison Riggs’ narrow victory by 734 votes. Griffin’s legal efforts, which could disenfranchise voters like Copland Rudolph, are criticized as attempts to undermine democracy and partisan interests. Legal battles are ongoing in both state and federal courts, amidst accusations of a GOP strategy to contest election results.
