Alcorn State AD addresses soccer program situation
SUMMARY: Alcorn State University has canceled its soccer season due to alleged Title IX violations and insufficient players. The Clarion-Ledger reported that 15 current and former players accused the university of lacking basic facilities, such as running hot water, and failing to meet equipment promises. Alcorn State’s new AD says they are addressing the situation and investment in the program and change is coming.

Flowood YMCA offers lifeguard course

Shelby's 177th conducts march to donate food to Edwards Street Center
