Alcorn County man arrested in Sexual Battery case
SUMMARY: Marcus Ray Burcham, a 45-year-old man from Corinth, Mississippi, has been arrested and charged with sexual battery of a vulnerable person. The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation after reports of a sexual assault involving Burcham and an individual with mental disabilities surfaced. Following the investigation, Burcham confessed to the crime. He is currently being held in the Alcorn County Jail, awaiting his initial court appearance.
