Alabama remains warm and dry to start the week, but some rain chances return Halloween to end the…
SUMMARY: Alabama is experiencing unseasonably warm temperatures, reaching 80 degrees in Birmingham, with a gradual evening drop to 72 and later 60 degrees overnight. This marks the 29th consecutive day without measurable rain, contributing to severe drought across much of the state. Next week, temperatures will remain above average early on, but a cold front expected Thursday night will bring a slight drop. Rain chances may arise during Halloween, primarily in northwestern Alabama, but overall conditions should allow for Halloween festivities. By Friday, temperatures will start in the lower 60s, with improved weather expected afterward.
