SUMMARY: In Texas, the demand for water is increasing due to population growth and droughts. Aquaria’s Hydropack system, developed by brothers Brian and Eric Sheng, extracts water from the air by lowering its dew point, mimicking dew formation. Aquaria aims to supply water to entire communities and plans to introduce industrial-sized units soon. Other technologies, like a hydrogel developed at the University of Texas, also harness water from air without power.

On February 7, her dashboard began malfunctioning, prompting her to pull over at the Marand Plaza shopping center. Moments later, the vehicle exploded. Unaware of a recall for engine and coolant issues in her model, she learned from her granddaughter about multiple similar incidents. She hopes her experience will encourage others to research vehicles thoroughly before purchasing and to check for recalls, warning that she could have lost her life.
