On February 7, her dashboard began malfunctioning, prompting her to pull over at the Marand Plaza shopping center. Moments later, the vehicle exploded. Unaware of a recall for engine and coolant issues in her model, she learned from her granddaughter about multiple similar incidents. She hopes her experience will encourage others to research vehicles thoroughly before purchasing and to check for recalls, warning that she could have lost her life. She is still without a vehicle following the incident.

The woman was unaware her 2019 Range Rover had a recall on it when the dashboard started malfunctioning. Moments later, the vehicle was engulfed in flames in what the woman described as a “full-blown explosion.”
