Aberdeen Police Department looks to relocate
SUMMARY: The Aberdeen Police in Mississippi will be moving to a new location in the old Aberdeen Public Utilities building. The move is aimed at providing the police department with more space and a better facility to support the city. The current department suffers from issues such as water damage and limited space. The old utility building has features like security cameras that the police department can utilize, but some redesigning will be necessary to meet the department’s needs. The timeline for the move has not been determined yet, but both the mayor and police chief are optimistic about the new location becoming their home.
