Dry conditions will continue today as high pressure takes hold just to the north. Dry fuels and low dewpoints will support the ongoing fire danger for south Arkansas and parts of north Louisiana. Winds will remain calm and will shift southerly by Wednesday. High pressure will move off to the east, and a weak front will arrive on Thursday. However, this front may stall north of the ArkLaMiss and weaken which diminishes any chance of rain. Temperatures will also range well above average in the mid and upper 80’s.
