Man accused in UnitedHealthcare CEO killing faces federal charge that’s eligible for death penalty
SUMMARY: Luigi Mangione, accused of killing UnitedHealthcare’s CEO Brian Thompson on December 4, faces federal charges of stalking, murder by firearm, and a firearms offense, which could result in the death penalty. Arrested in Pennsylvania, Mangione was extradited to New York, where he appeared in federal court.
