Belhaven baseball finds new home at Trustmark Park
SUMMARY: The Belhaven baseball team will play its upcoming season at Trustmark Park in Pearl, a professional stadium that previously hosted the Mississippi Braves. Trustmark Park will accommodate both Belhaven and the Mississippi Mud Monsters, who now share the field. The Blazers will kick off their season with a home series against Mount Saint Mary on February 14, and will practice at Trustmark Park leading up to their season.

SUMMARY: The University of Southern Mississippi (Southern Miss) has partnered with Mississippi College to offer an accelerated law school pathway. This program allows students to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctorate (JD) in six years, saving one year compared to traditional routes. Eligible students who complete three-fourths of their undergraduate coursework can gain admission to Mississippi College School of Law. Upon finishing their first year in law school with satisfactory grades, students will receive their bachelor’s degree. This program requires taking the LSAT by the end of their third undergraduate year and applying to law school by February of that year.
