Our Daily Bread Food Pantry Honored for 20 Years of Service
SUMMARY: Our Daily Bread, a Stone County nonprofit food pantry supported by local churches, has been serving the community for 20 years. Operating since Hurricane Katrina, it provides weekly groceries—meat, bread, and produce—to the underprivileged. Without government funding, it relies on donations and volunteers. The pantry is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. Recently, it was honored by the Stone County Enterprise. The director shared that it was created by local pastors and government leaders to help families in need, and donations can be made through the WXXV 25 website to support their efforts.
